Room 9 has been learning about our responsibilities at home and at school. We have explored how important our responsibilities are and what might happen if we don't do things that are our job to do.Here is some writing by Room 9 showing they know all about their responsibilities at school:
At school my responsibilities are to clean up at the end of the day, to get ready at the start of the day and to try my best at my work. It is important to do these things because if I didn't pack up at the end of the day then I would leave everything at school. It is important to get my things out at the start of the day because if I had any notices then I can't give them to the teacher. If I didn't try my best then I would just give up!

My responsibilities are to put my chair up. It is important to put my chair up at the end of the day so that the cleaners can vacuum under the chairs. It is my responsibility to put my pencil on my table. It is important to do that otherwise I wouldn't be ready for learning. It is my responsibility to push my chair in, otherwise somebody will trip over it.
